How to change or edit default email retention policy on exchange server
This policy make deleted mailboxes possibility to connect back for the defined time range
1- Open and login to https://mailserver.com/ecp/
2- Go to servers,then go to databases
3- Double click on the database that you want to change the retention policy
4- after that go to 'Limits'
5- then change the parameter of *keep deleted mailboxes items for(days),
by default it keeps the deleted mailboxes for few days, we have changed to 365 days
